Default 110 race fuel

Can you safely run 110 leaded octane race fuel in your Harley? A place by me sells it, I would love to try it out, but I'm worried it may harm something.

Leaded fuel is harmfull to 02 sensors. So if your bike has those its not a good idea. Not to mention 110 octane fuel will actually make less power than lower octane fuel on a motor that cannot use the benifits of high octane. Such as super high compression or forced induction.

I agree with bikerlaw, there is no reason to. More harm than good.

What they said. Waste of money. Our engines are not designed for it.

if you can find some, try the 100 or 103 unleaded every once in a while just to clean it out if you want, but NO WAY on the leaded stuff

and keep it out of your cars also, leaded is bad for your Cat Convereter - so if you have a newer bike with a CAT you gotta think about that also

there are some good unleaded gas options out there though

when I am at the track I will usually buy some of the Sonoco 98 which is called 260 GTX

they sell it at my local tracks and there is a local Sunoco that has a race pump with it also. Good Stuff to run through a tank, but it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Unless you have advanced the timing some crazy amount or 13-1 compression you won't see any benefit using such a high octane fuel. I don't see a tankful doing much harm though if your that determined to try it out. It may or may not be leaded which may or not coat a sensor of some sort and possibly shorten it's service life.
Get to the track on as little fuel as your willing to risk riding without running out, them try a gallon out. See if anything changes. Worst case scenario is you dilute it with some regular from the track.

Race octane doesn't make you go faster.......But I say put it in anyway, how much worse can it make it.
