You could run it, but your tune would be off and you wouldn't get any benefits. But your money

It's all been covered in this thread.
1. Higher octane = slower burn rate = less power unless you significantly advance the timing to ensure it all gets burned.
2. Higher octane = slower burn = more carbon build-up due to insufficient fuel burn. But then your compression ratio will rise and you'll have to burn higher octane, LOL.
3. Any ethanol in your system is in your tank. If you don't let the bike sit for too long, the ethanol will do no harm to your newer bike. If it really bothers you to have the ethanol in there, just find gas of your normal octane rating that has no ethanol.

As stated above.

I used to run 100 octane leaded fuel in my sporty, which was above average compresssion. The leaded fuel is bad for o2 sensorts or anything with a catalytic converter, my sporty had neither. It ran cooler, since the lead nauraly acts as a cooling agent.

Over ,and over,and over.
People just dont get it,,more is not always more.

I use a combination of timing adjust, meth injection and 115 octane in our boosted motors running over 8 psi of boost with 11:1 stock compression, and 9:1 i dont worry about running better than than 95 octane till 10-11 psi.
Because I cant continually blend fuel to suit compression,I have to adjust timing.
I run rapid bike controllers and have the ability to adjust fuel, timing, stutter, limiter, etc.
Ive run all the way to 22 psi of boost, and trust me,detonation destroys your motor so fast when your working on the edge that you have almost no time to respond to it,and you end up with 10 grand worth of junk,,seen it and done it.
Ive read comments about leaded fuel destroying 02 sensors,,yep it does, but theres no call for it,,its simple, buy unleaded race fuel, its available.
Also,if you began with a reasonable a/f,which for me under boost is roughly 10.8 you could avoid some of the det problems people run into when they are trying to be at 12-13 a/f.
And if you can run a knock sensor reliably,do so if the enviroment its monitoring isnt already sounding like a can of rattling change.
Eventually everything comes down to heat management
