Happens everywhere you go, I agree with twisted, should have thrown down, but then again, that would have been trouble that you were not looking for, best you left like you did.
I have found that people judge way before they actually know in all cases. Good call on the leaving and not starting any trouble lots of self control. I am not sure I would have been able to do it.

You did the right thing by walking. To digress to the mental level of the *** hat, would have made you that which you despise. Besides, those mental giants get thiers eventually... From another *** hat.

Alcohol...brings out the a-hole in all of us. Not that I've never had a bat of "foot-in-mouth" disease myself, but it was always towards someone in my group vs. spouting toward unknown targets. Proof a person never knows anyone's situation & there are ignorant douche bags everywhere who always have to be the jokester. I'd say you made the right decision to depart before things went South + relayed your disgust to the a-hat.

Default No Cure For stupid

Unfortunately there is no cure for stupid! There are a lot of people out there that like to flap their gums with nothing worthwhile listening to coming out. Liquor usually lubricates stupidity!

Thumbs down

Rizzo - I hear what you're sayin'.

There is an old Chinese saying about "The loudest person in the room will always be the least knowledgable".

Rest assured that you did the right thing overall, and the large-mouthed, low I.Q. idiot will eventually spout off something moronic like this to the wrong person(s), and get his worthless head blown off. Just a matter of time...

This is one of the unfortunate things we are required to bear as a HD owners. Anyone can purchase a motorcycle, but not everyone has the intelligence, maturity level, and common sense to go along with bike ownership. That said, there are unfortunately the same %age of ***-wipes owning motorcycles as in any other segment of life. Again, rest assured knowing that most of these bottom-dwellers only pursue the sport until they no longer can gain much needed attention, or they are driven out, so the "herd" is constantly being culled, and only the deserving eventually remain long-term.

Like spoiled, impatient children, if you ignore their rantings and poor behavior, they will eventually stop behaving like imbeciles, and calm down.

Ride, it'll do ya' good, and always steer clear of "poser bars".
