I seem to remember an issue with the injector wires
Getting hot and failing due to shaking and heat

**Update ** ok, thanks to Pudge and his link I was able to run the diagnosis test on my bike . Each model came back with "none" or no dtc codes. So no probs there. Blob, I will have to check into that. All the wires and things in the injector area appear to be in good order but I will check again. Thanks fellas.

when I bought mine new in 03 I had a breather and exhuast change. The dealership said they would map it so it runs right with the changes. I always thought it was sluggish and got crumby mileage

i just changed pipes again from the BUB stubbies to Samson upsweapt fishtails with their 'quiet' baffle.

instantly I noticed a difference...i lay on the throttle and I'm gone like a shot. peppy, responsive as hell, like riding a totally different bike.

I guess it was running lean as hell as there was a shitload of white all around the ports and top of the pipes... I haven't done a download for the new pipes yet...not sure that I will.

can't believe the difference in performance with just a pipe change.

I wouldn't use starting fluid on anything rubber. It's alcohol, will dry-up the seals.

*** update #2****

Fuel pressure checks out fine. The leak down test came back fine as well. Ordered a new tps sensor from Harley and will be installing it when it arrives.

While patiently waiting on throttle position sensor to arrive I figured I would ask a few questions bout install. Did a search with no luck but the r two simple questions. #1, do I need to unhook battery while installing new one and #2, does the new one need indexed or anything like that ? Thanks
