3/4 Helmet

You're gonna get a lot of opinions here, but I have an HD Jet II (about $150). The only thing that I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a removable liner, so you can wash it.

Best looking is subjective. I have an HJC carbon fiber helmet like this one that I like. It's fairly light, with good ventilation. You can also get a flip up face shield for them that is very useful for touring, it keeps the rain from beating you to death, and protects against sunburn. I keep the visor on most of the time, but put the face shield on when I tour. It also has a removable, washable liner, which is a must have in my opinion. On those long tours in the summer the helmet can get pretty funky after a few days. Just pop out the liner and rinse it out in the sink, and hang it up over the AC in the motel. Next day it's like having a new helmet.
Many think Shoei makes the most comfortable helmets, every review I've ever read raves about them, but they are quite a bit more expensive. I may try one for my next helmet.

Are you looking for something simple and old school: Fulmer V2, Biltwell Hustler, Bell 500, Licks NovDot?
Do you prefer the modern look with integrated visor and blue tooth compatible like the HD Jet 2 or AGV etc?
I own the Fulmer V2 and a Biltwell. The fulmer runs small (I wear a 2X for them) and has a tighter more skulpted feel. It's a pain in the *** to put on and take off, like it is sucked to my head. the Biltwell (size LG) is nice with the chrome trim like the Bell 500, but also the padding muffles wind noise and exhaust roar. The padding also makes me think it might be too warm in mid Summer. Both have the same profile overall though.
