I use Mequire's Auto Shampoo on the paint.....used it for years. Has natural polishes in it too. Use Scrubbing Bubbles on the motor, wheels and exhaust to get the grime out. Spray it on heavy, let it sit just a few minutes and hose off COMPLETELY. The blow it dry with shop vac for the big stuff, then pull out my small compressor with my fine tip sprayer to hit the small cracks and crevices. Finish up with a quick run of my drill with the sponge applicator and carnuba. Let dry and polish off with micro-fiber.

I agree with the dedicated leaf blower

Walmart ( I do hate Walmart)..,,get the green electric blower for like 25 bucks
It works great

Oh boy.....another wash thread......and nobody's mentioned Lemon Pledge?!
Guess that would be a wax thread.
I could've gone with post #23 and called it a day.
I did an advanced search and put in "wash bike" in the titles only and 3 pages of threads came up.....just sayin'

Whats the difference between washing & cleaning?
Also, why a 'dedicated' leaf blower? Do you somehow think if you use a leaf blower that was previously used to do something other than dry your bike, like say fer instance... blow leaves, it will somehow become unworthy to then blow air upon your bike?
