Had the same problem. I downloaded the newest version of Netscape and it fixed it.

 

You can also try a system restore to the date prior to when the problem started. Start / programs/ accessories/ system tools/ system restore.

 

updates updates updates.... for your verson of windows or mac netscape or IE or firefox. insure you have set your sercurity to default or to medium. any higher will refuse a lot of data.

When was the last time you did a intenstive scan for virus's? Chances are, if you have one, your brother would have picked it up...or visa versee. Check that out...do the updates thing and give'er agood once over with your virus scan.

 

I never had a problem until i read this the other day. now i have blown out four times today- virus scans daily- went under internet explorer and problem stopped- i usually am in on netscape- thanks for the hint

 

Could be a virus ..... not likely but you can to go www.avast.com to get a free virus scan for life.
I have not had the problem and I use at least 3 browsers between home and work. What version of Windows are you running ? Do you have Firewall enabled ? Does the browser window stay opened but just minimizes ? Are you running any other security programs such as McAfee ? Can you got to other forums and work "normally" ?

 

Switch to firefox. I was using explorer 7 and had same problem. Firefox is more secure anyway.

 

Figgered it out.....with ya'lls help. It was a defunct shockwave proggy jacking my stuff up. Updated to the latest Adobe Flash Player and BINGO!!!...no more desktop shots!

Ditto with the advice to go with Mozilla's Firefox. You should also empty your "cookies" cache. Then do a restart.
