here in IL they told me to just carry it with me as their is no recommended way to mount it to a bike and have it still read the transponder. that being said I don't carry it at all. they have my bike listed on the account so they can look it up instead. hell I'm paying the same rate as if I have my truck fully loaded up tearing up the roadway, so they can do a little work to get the extra $$$ from my bike.

May be preaching to the choir.....

Motorcyles should not have to pay road tolls:

1) Light weight - little wear to road surface
2) Efficent flow of traffic - find neutral, remove glove, find money etc delays traffic
3)"Greenie" minds - reduces traffic jams, less pollution, less gas.
4) At the very least - 2 wheel vs 4 wheels = 1/2 price.

I'm sure there's more.

The big M is a NY thing. They apparently used to have specific motorcycle ones but did away with that. PA and DE are the same for car/motorcycle because we don't get any discounts on the tolls when riding two wheels.

Also, I mounted mine using their snap-crow that they supply to the lid of my right hand side saddlebag on the front angled part making sure the arrows were pointing up. Been through a number of toll plaza's now and its worked fine every time.

I've heard some people have trouble with them in their windshield bag and having to take them out as they go through because (they suspect) of the metal frame of the windshield.

Where on your bike do you keep your EZ Pass transponder (if you use it on the bike alot)?
Its where I keep my bike EZ-pass in a zip-lock. Your going to be wet, so prepare accordingly....ride safe.

Mine is in my tour pack. It works fine.

I did add my motorcycle tag number to my toll road account.

Mine is in my windshield bag. If you are moving from your car you can add your bike to it. Mine has my yaris and my deluxe. I just called and had it added. Hubbies has his jeep and his roadking.
I honestly think it is worth it even if you only use it a couple times a year.

In Florida you can put all your vehicles on 1 e-pass. Goes on the windhield or in the tour pack if it's on.

Also in FL if the vehicle is registered to the account and the pass doesn't read for whatever reason it will bill your account by the plate. What this means is you can effectively leave you pass on the car and just zip through the lane on the bike and it will bill your account. If you are really cheap then you can just stay to the side of the lane and it won't even trigger the system that you passed. You must stay within the white lines to stay legal though.
