Never been to NY and don't care to be either..

I know I am older now but I never had a really good friend that was less than 20 yrs my senior when I was younger.. most my age was just NUTs, IMO, and I didn't care to be around them.

Alot of people rag on the H.O.G., not much on this thread though. I enjoy riding with the group in Anchorage, ages from early twenties to late 60s (could go older I guess) and a pretty good group. I don't just ride with them but all my group rides are. I could join the Combat Vets or Viet Nam Vets but I am really not that much of a joiner and want to ride when I want to ride. I don't go to all the H.O.G. events but I enjoy being around most of the folks in the group and if I have nothing else in common with some of them I do have riding in common. I would suggest you at least check out the group in your area.

Nothing is wrong with NY. Some people have ignorant predjudices against places they have never been to and know nothing about.
