Default dyna low rider

I have a 2004 dyna low rider with forward controls. I was wandering if I can put mid controls on it

You can, but unless you have a 25" inseam, you won't like it!!!

+1.

I think they make a reduced reach kit for the forwards.

Mid controls are stock on a 2004 Low Rider. I prefer mid controls and highway pegs.

I took the forward controls off an '02 Low Rider I bought and returned it to stock configuration. Granted, I rode with my feet on the highway pegs 70% of the time, but at least I had another location to rest my legs when on longer trips. I'm 6'3" and never wanted to change it back to forward controls.

My Low Rider had forward controls when I got it so I bought a set of the original mid peg brackets from E-Bay and added my own pegs. I left the controls at forward position so now I have two locations to put my feet. It works really well for me.

I know not exactly the same thing but my 1200C came with forwards and I replaced them with mids and highway pegs.
