I originally wanted a Fieldsheer of Tourmaster mesh jacket but I stopped at the local HD and they had a SWAT funtional mesh jacket that was in XL tall so I bought it and love it so far. It has armor for the elbows, shoulders and back. I also bought some preforated leather gloves that seem to flow pretty good.

+1 but sometimes it's even too hot for the mesh!

Tourmaster Intake jacket and pants....not bad at all especially as long as you're moving. Has removable waterproof liner that can be worn over or under mesh eliminating need for separate rain suit. Have worn the jacket (no liner) over work clothes into the lower 90's.

Tee shirt and jeans for me in summer. I hafta admit, if I'm at home and need to make the 5 min trip to the quirky mart for a pack of cigs, I'll go in my shorts and sneaks.

I have a Tourmaster mesh jacket. I also have a perforated leather jacket. The leather still gets to hot once it is in the mid to upper 80's. I recently bought a perforated leather vest that will be my go to gear when the temps are 90 plus.

Here in FL it gets just too hot in the summer to wear more than jeans and a t-shirt in the summer. You wouldn't be able to stand it at a traffic light.

River Road mesh armor jacket (back/elbows/shoulders), Sidi gloves (knuckle protection but are "holy"/holes for air flow, but not padded on the palm), jeans, and work boots. Helmet of course (state I'm in requires a helmet). You can see the jacket in my Avatar picture. We road the Tail-of-the-Dragon in early May last year (when the picture was taken). Wished I had my leather jacket that day as it was much cooler than anticipated.

The jacket is good in the summer here in North Alabama, but still it gets really hot and humid. So the good part besides the armor is the protection from the sun. I always thought I projected the wrong image when I wore gloves and a short sleeve shirt. My hands would not be tan, but my arms were dark. And when I wore my fingerless gloves, it was even worse
