my buddy been riding for 45 years he wears clogs lol.
I find boots to be not very confortable at bike functions when walking for a long time.

I wear boots all the time, riding, walking, work, and they are steel toe. Guess I'm just used to them because they don't bother me at all. I do have a pair of man-clogs but I only wear them around the house and getting the mail.

 

I got a pair of Harley boots that suck, so I know what you mean. I have owned some very comfy boots before though. I'm looking to get a pair of Dr. Martens slip ons next. They have a pair that even has extra ankle padding in both steel toe and non. I have 5 pairs of other docs and love them all.

 

Do what my OL does. She has some heavy duty boots she wears while on the bike,but keeps a pair of tennis shoes in her saddlebag. When she gets to where she is going she swaps them out and is able to walk around in comfort. To be honest I do the same thing. I always keep a comfy pair of shoes in my bag.

 

I wear Boots ALL the time. First pair are H-D pull over engineer type and never got to the point I liked them. Reading where folks said they were easy to be knocked off helped me to decide to change. Got some 9" lace up Milwaukee with side zippers and seem to be ok. Dress for the slide, not the ride!

 

i wear sneakers every time but hell i wear board shorts too!

 

I wear steel toes work boots only cause I haven't forked out the coin yet for riding boots. I'm still waiting for the first wise *** to chime in here and say he wears flip flops.

 

I have these same boots your correct Milwaukee with side zippers.
but my full boots are harley boots and they are just awful.
