I have some Hein Gericke short boots with gortex, they are well armored and 100% waterproof, great for walking around in as well as riding.

 

Started out wearing engineer boots they sucked! Wanted something that was easy on easy off,light weight and comfortable found them, Wellingtons been wearing them well over 40 yrs.

I usually wear whatever is on my feet at the time I hop on my bike. If I am going to be taking a longer more deliberate ride I will put on my Timberlands. I am also the guy you see with shorts and no shirt on while cruising around town. I live safety everyday at work. I ride my bike to be free from all that.......

Bought a pair od Harley Davidson boots a couple years ago. Haven't worn them because I still had some miles on my old ones.
I put the HD boots on last week. They fit good but the leather feels way too stiff and the soles feel like hard plastic. So I decided it's time to start breaking them in. I dug a hole to plant a new bush in front of the house. When I took the boots off I noticed the sole separated from the boot. Typical Harley Davidson. Has 3 HD logos on each boot and was made in China.

 

Hell, I wear an old pair of work boots I got for christmas or something about 12 years ago. So old they are slippery on the bottom like the church shoes i had to wear as a kid.

 

I wear combat boots. I started wearing them when I got my bike because I already had them and I didn't want to spend any more money.They have full ankle support, great traction, and GoreTex weather proofing. They are very comfortable once you break them in... not to mention they're black!
