Welcome and Congrats! If you are going that way, a word of caution on the Bay Bridge. If I remember correctly, last time I crossed it (MANY years ago) it was a grated roadway, and had guard rails that weren't real high. Be ready to ride the grated surface. It is perfectly do-able, but it makes the bike feel squirrelly if you are not used to it. Find a grated roadway to ride and see what it is like. Don't make the Bay Bridge your first experience.
