Thinking about getting a Big Dog K9
#21
I believe Moto Guzzi continually produced bikes since 1921,while Triumph went out for awhile.Don't know about Husqvarna.

Anyway I think you may have missed my point - Guzzi has heritage and following just like the Moco and makes some great bikes.

Had an 09 Rocker sold it and thought I was out of biking. Then I saw a 08 Ridgeback. Damn near fell off the chair! Decided to do some more investigating and wound up buying an 08 K9. Loved it but TOTALLY Different kind of bike vs. the Rocker. Rocker was smooth. K9 is NOT. Like driving a showroom stock Chevy Malibu vs. a hopped up street rod. Had a couple of incidents but they proved small and easy fix. Sold it. Guy that bought it LOVES it. Exactly what he was looking for after spending a fortune on his Hog. Had it bored and stroked, cam, etc. Never was satisfied 'til he got his first (my) K9.
I have no real need to ride but for some strange reason I can't get those K9s out of my system and I'll probably wind up buying another but I hope not!!! But I want it!!!

I'm going to against the grain here. If you are selling your Rocker anyway and can buy a Big Dog right, get it. You can probably ride it for a year and sell for what you bought it for. Your cost of ownership would then be any breakdowns and the cost of whatever aftermarket goodies you "invest" in. I ride my buddys Mastiff from time to time and it's a hoot.
