They replaced my mounts two times under warranty within the first thousand miles or so ('09 FXD) and then decided that it was normal and refused to do so thereafter. Mirrors are useless, especially at night, and clutch and brake lever jackhammer at certain rpm ranges...just got used to it. As far as I can tell, the front mount sags a bit so it's no longer floating and the vibes increase noticeably but then it doesn't get any worse after that. I just wrap my grips in grip tape (like for tennis racquets and such) and try to rationalize it; at least its not as bad as the old rigid mounts.

If buying new, one of my interests was the new FLD.
What I had read on here (re; exces vibes @ freeway speeds)
I had some doubts.

A buddy of mine bought one.
Can't even use 6th geat til over 80. Gotta keep it over that
3250 mark (He opted for the tach-in-speedo thing)

But yeah, we're dissapointed. He's actually going to see them
about trading back for an 09 Softail they have.
And he's had an 02 Heritage, 3 baggers, then that Dyna.

Baggers are smoother at speed, but across the board that B- motor
is hard to beat.
So if they would hard mount that into a Dyna style frame w/better
susp & brakes, Harley might actually have something.

it's a Harley and it's a Dyna, so it's not counter-balanced. It shakes and vibes. That's all.

Salesman even told me this when I was making the decision on a bike. At idle my quick detach luggage rack makes some noise, kinda scared me the first time it did it! Mirrors dance a bit, but it does level out once outside of idle.
