Gerbings glove owner, please read in

Around those temp you should have no problems with the Gerbings and have very warm hands. Cold senstations are subjective and i tend to have always warm hands so it's easy for me to feel very warm with the heated gloves.
Sorry for asking maybe the obvious, but do your gloves fit tight-snug or are they almost a size bigger? My T5 are slightly bigger than they should so sometimes, like somebody mentioned before , I need to push them against the clutch/front brake levers so that my fingers are directly in contact with the heated fabric. Otherwise they are not cold, but not so "toasty" warm.
did they get better after cleaning the contact?

The gloves are all made to be "heat neutral" on your hands. They should be warm enough to not feel the cold but not to warm to overheat the hands. This is how they are made. Gerbings did recently change their supplier (new CHINESE supplier) for their gloves. Previous to the change their gloves were only heated on the palm side. The newer supply has heating elements both on the inside and outside. These gloves are identifiable by the right angle 90* plug on the harness. I had the older T5 gloves (inside heat only) and now I have the newer G3 gloves that have heating inside and out. I'm good to go till about the upper 20's. Gerbings DOES NOT consider their older gloves defective, but, does stand behind their product and would probably allow a trade in allowance. That is what I did!

if the gloves quit working, take a SMALL screwderiver and in the female plug, there is a small post. insert the screwdriver into the slot ya see there and spread the post apart. as in, make the post wider. this is what gerbing told me when i complained about a nonworking glove.

Before I got my jacket liner I only had the Y harness and it was slow at work so I parked my bike in the shop and forgot to un plug the gloves and left them on the seat. I didnt run a switch just plug em in and go. Well bout 11;00 I see smoke bellowing from my bike and I knew what was up. Ran over and unplugged them in a hurry. You should see the 3" hole in my 7 month old mustang vintage solo seat! Bad day. Rode home in welding gloves....
