I have to force myself not to get anything else for the bike but there's always something a little better, makes it do more, stops it from doing this or that, looks better, is stronger, more comfortable, blacker, and it never stops...never.

You might be talking about having a tire mounted for $30 but there ain't a dealer or independent who can remove the wheel, change, balance the tire and reinstall it for $30. And you can't put 5 quarts of synthetic oil & filter on for $40.

ain't that true. A normal person would buy a bike and just ride it.
If you have a Harley, you believe you need to upgrade your seat. Sundowner 2 up is quickly ordered, the OL is happier too. Yes, but.... should also try to find on ebay if I can score a solo seat, it will make the bike look so much better. And you buy the solo sit.
Guess what? The Mustang seat for touring is so much better than the sundowner, so it's time to upgrade and you score one on ebay. Now you are really happy.
oh but the new one with the backrest just come out, the ride is so much more comfortable with the back rest.....

and that is the same for almost every single part of the bike!!!!!!

If you buy the tire from the dealer in my area, they will install it on your bike for $30. If you bring your tire in, the dealer will put it on the rim for $30 or install it on the bike for $105. There is an indy in my area who will install the tire on the bike for free if you buy the tire from them.

I can go to walmart and get synthetic mobil 1 for $25 for a 5 quart jug but I wasn't talking about synthetic. I can get a 5 quart of dino castrol gtx for about $15 and a black filter from Harley for $8 so I guess I am wrong, it's more like less than $30.
