A Little late to the party, but I just finished the MSF course here in Georgia, and at the completion of the course we got MSF stickers and bright orange "Don't Remove My Helmet" stickers.

It's ugly, though, so I'm not sure I'm going to put it on the helmet.

On a related topic, what helmet(s) are the best for safety? What is the situation with the full helmets that split in half so you can wear them but open the front half (flip up)? Are they any good, or a gimmick?
They're not anymore gimmick than a 3/4, but the front doesn't protect much, if any better in a wreck. From what I recall, the flip-down has a tendency to come unlatched when hit. I looked at the latching mechanism on some from the big name helmets makers and that made up my mind to stick with full face.
