Default Swirls in paint/powder coat question

Hey guys

Picked up second hand Crossbones yesterday and it's great! Only problem is the previous owner must have ONLY used water free cleaners when the bike was filthy and covered it in swirls. The paint isn't much of a problem but what I'm wondering is can I use the same anti-swirl product on the gloss black powder coat that's on the console/headlight/rear struts etc
(I'm assuming theyre powder coated not paint, seems logical)

Thanks in advance

Same product should work but might need more time spent for same results, due to the hardness of the power coat.

Try a lil 6000 grit liquid compound. It will shave down the outer coat of the paint eliminating the scratch lines. Than polish with something like Auto Glimm.

Thanks for the help guys.

DBAGR, I don't know why or how but the powder coated areas were easier to bring up than the paint...weird

It's still not 100% perfect but another go and a polish and she'll be sweet

Thanks again for the tips

I got the same problems with my bike. I've just been to lazy to break out the buffer and go wild! One of these days I'll get to it. Haha
