Default ISO grips

I have been looking at getting a pair of kuryakyn ISO grips. But I have been reading reviews that say the black rubber wears off in your hands if you don't wear gloves all the time. Anyone have this issue with these? Then I have been checking out AVON grips as well. Any issues with these that anyone may be a aware of?

I have the Avon grips and rarely wear gloves. They haven't gotten gummy in over a year's worth of wear.

I've got the ISO grips. No issues for me after 2+ years...

I have been running the ISO's for more than 2 years on the Ultra. Occassionally I get a little black mark on my left hand, near the fore-finger knuckle. Got no idea why there, but it is not a problem. Grips are very comfortable.

Same here, very comforable. Not enough of an issue to complain about at all.

I have the ISO's on one of my bikes. One thing I don't like about them is that it does not really snap back to zero throttle fas fast as other grips. I think this is due to the rubber inside fo the grip that cushions the hands and absorbs the vibrations.

I always wear gloves so the rubber is not an issue for me.

I've had 2 motorcycles with H-D Aileron grips. Great feel and a good look.
