Don't replace the gauges. You can surface mount the tweeters. That's what I did. They fit nice right between the guages.

Watch ebay for an xm module. I got mine for 300 bucks.

Look, here's one going right now....

Except it doesn't have an antenna and you'll most likely need the wiring harness, unless your bike has a CB it probably doesn't have it.

I've got the CB, I hadn't thought of surface mounting the tweeters, thanks!

I can post a picture later, show you how it looks on mine. If you have the CB then I'm pretty sure you have that extra wiring harness and there will be a plug for the XM.

We use the Focal Speaker line with with Arc amps. We have played with all of them and in our "opinion" nothing comes close. If you ever see us at a rally, or show you will see the pile of take out speakers that we lay on the table for all to see. You would be suprised what brands you will find in the pile.

As for you guys looking for the best solution for XM, and IPod hook up's keep your eye out for what we have coming. Way Way less than HD.

I'm waiting on delivery of Arc Audio's MPAK 6, amp and speakers for the RG. Not saying that they're the "best", but the reports I've read on the kit is very good. Once it's installed I'll be able to give a first hand review.

You should give us a link. Or tell us who your company is.

I don't know what you have for XM, but I have a portable XM player that I plug into the cigarette lighter with a jack that plugs into the front of the bike stereo. It's a pain in the butt with all those wires everwhere, and it's not weather proof. So even though the harley XM is a bit pricey, it's integrated, shows up on the screen, for example, I can cycle through am/fm/weather band/XM. It's really slick.

So what ever your solution is, it has to be fully integrated in my opinion.

Harley Ranger,
I'm posting a few pics. I am going to write this up properly in the audio section when I'm done. I'm just painting the saddlebag lids as we speak. But here's a few shots to peak your curiosity, give you some ideas.

The equipment.. Polk audio speakers, J&M 500w 4ch amp

The install location for the amp. One of the 6.25" speaker mounted on a ring...

The tweeter install....

Default Arc Audio

Looking forward to your review of the ARC. Considering the same one for my 11 limited.
