Default LED Tail / Brake light make things worse or better

We all know being tailgated is a problem. I been looking at the LED Tail / Brake light with the Back Off module. On one hand I can see this getting someone's attention if there on your *** but on the other would it antagonize the vehicle behind you just to get closer? or do " Run up's" ?

I had the LED taillight on my Sportster and the first change I made to my RKC was switching to the LED taillight and LED running/turn/brake lights. It gives me ALOT more confidence at a stoplight where I worry about being rearended. The attached picture, which another member posted a while ago, shows the difference (I added the before and after labels). The LED's are further away and yet are MUCH more visible than the closer stock lights. Do it!

They aren't as decisive as a rear-mounted molecular disruption ray set to go off at 20 feet, but the combination of led's and the back-off module are fairly effective.

In considering Kurt's posting of "Do it!", I can only quote that famous western lawman "Black Bart": "DO WHAT HE SAY... DO WHAT HE SAY!!!!"

Let's be careful out there!

Who did you all get yours through? There's Kuryakyn Lights but those are I think $160 just for the tail light. Or is that a average price for them. If I change one I would do them all

I went with the Bal-2 light from www.brightasslights.com by far the brightest taillight available from anyone. Had it on for two years and no problems or complaints. I am highly visible night or day.

I like mine, they are very bright. I bought mine from Custom Dynamics. They are not cheap.

I've got the H-D LED lights. They are cheaper than the alternatives and are plug and play--no equalizer needed.
