I have the HD LED Head Lamps, Auxillary Lamps (where equipped) and Tail lamps on all my bikes and do indeed believe they are more visible and therefore safer.

I have custom dynamic led turn signals front and back. Hands down the best out there.

I have LED's front and rear of my Ultra and have purchased them for my Night Train as well. The difference in visibility is huge.

they are a great help to be seen, but I was following another rider that had LEDs, it was very bright out. we were doing some hard riding in some twisties and it was hard to tell when he was on the brakes. had to back off quite a bit so I did not run into him.

Does not make it worse thats for sure.

I'm going to get a plug and play led tail light as soon as I can find one cheap enough for me to afford

I took my first ride today with my BAL-1 light from brightass lights. I did notice some people staying further back, but not all. I think a shotgun pointed backwards would not keep some people from pulling close or tailgating.
I have it set to flash two times and then hold steady. It is BRIGHT. You do have the option of at least flashing a car just by releasing and re-applying the brakes. I am also running the HD run/turn light module. It widens my bikes lighting a bit.

I did not like the HD LED unit because of the chrome trim mentioned earlier. Could have gotten a good deal on it as my dealer was discounting lighting 15% last month.

The BAL-1 is plug and play, takes maybe 10 minutes because of the gasket you have to install. Money well spent.

Went out with my Bright *** tail light yesterday. No tailgaters and no one looked like they were getting to close for comfort at stops. But that was only one ride, so only time will tell. Other than that, no one looked like they were pissed or ready to pound me, so I call that a win.
