For where I live...I put A LOT of miles on. I average 15-18K per year, and have done so for the past 10 years. Not too many in Michigan are able to put on that kind of milage. Down south its easier, you guys get an extra 5-6 months to catch up with me.

I manage about 15,000 miles per year. I'd do more if I could.

Thumbs up Royal Purple & 1997 FatBoy

Was going to say i don't care about ur mileage, But then it's right in tune to what i'm saying, I have a 1997 fatboy, after purchase, put Royal purple in the engine, as I have RP, running thru evrything I own!!! Ok, 97 fatboy, I wa running 240*F in the heat of the summer, after the 2000mile oil change, & again RP, engine temp dropped to 175*F, didn't matter how much I dogged it out, it was Great!!!! 1997 was'nt a great yr for 1340 evo upper valve trains, mine had been rebuilt before I owned it, But it was leaking base gaskets when I bought it, I don't like leaks ..... Period!! I always worked on my on toys, so Pulled the top end myself, had Southern cycles Punch both jugs a new pistons and rings. I put this back together, broke it in with HD oil!!!! PUNCH line,,,I'm still running 175*F in the summer!!!!!!! If U can't break the Tempurature of Ur HD, then call me 832-755-3102, Cuz U or ur mech. is not doing something to ur benefit!!

P.S. Just Bought a 2006 Ultra-Classic, 8500 miles, with Royal Purple, Getting ready to turn this one into another Beast!!!!! Have a Great Day!! Troy! Holler anytime! Keep the Engine cool, and get Alot of Miles out of UR Beast!!

I just bought mine at close to the end of last season. Put about 1k miles on it so far. Plan on putting a lot more this year as I already have planned trips.

I average about 8000-10,000/year on my Ultra, and about 10,000 on the FLHTP. Nearly all the miles on the police bike are city miles.

I will do about 15,000 this year, only because work is crazy so will not get to ride as much as I would like to.
