Between 6000 -8000 miles a year and I didn't even lay the bike up this year I rode right through the winter. I'm married, have three young kids, it's the best I can do for now. Most of my rides are to work and back to be honest.

I ride as many miles as necessary to go where I want, when I want to, nor more, no less. For many years this was about 10K+/-. the last few years it's slacked off a bit due to other issues (visiting Dad at the nursing home, playing in a rock band on weekends, cleaning up after two "100 year" flood in five years) which have cut into my riding time.

60,000 km in three summers. What's that in yank? 36000mi, so 12000mi/yr. We can't ride in the winter around here, otherwise you could double that.

Bought new in 2007, I now have over 63,000 on mine. I ride every day. This bike has only seen one road trip to Fort Worth in 2010, three Phoenix (900 miles round trip) overnighters, two trips to Southern California (about 700 miles round trip. That pretty much typifies my riding. Day rides are sometimes 300 mile days if I ride with some cops I know who take a day off to ride.

I'm just not happy if I'm not riding, even if its just around town.

I have about 8000 on my FLTRX but I have travelled 28 weeks of past 52. That's about what I did on last bike too.

I must be a fair weather rider. 3,000 - 5,000 per year and enjoy every mile.
