I got a small one wrapped in a towel in my bag. Used a half gallon of milk to put out a fire on some guys bike once. He lost the overflow tube an had gas pissin on a hot pipe. HHMMMMMMMMM... maybe I oughta ditch the fire putter outer an carry milk.

I was thinking the same thing. In my 34 years on the planet I can count the number cars I have seen on fire. I can't even remember a motorcycle other than my only mini-bike that I ran w/o a air filter and would back fire thru the carb and caught on fire.

So I will take a chance with my bike and if burns I will figure it will be time to upgrade anyway.

Yep...burn baby burn = insurnace claim. That's what all those monthly premiums are for...

Default I use this

Yeah, it hurts my gas mileage. But the peace of mind is priceless.

I carry a small halon extinguisher in my toolbag, never used one on a bike but put out a fire in a small camper at a campground once with one.

I don't have a fire extinguisher on the bike. I have a fireman in my left bag, stored right next to my EMT. In the right bag, there's my LEO and my lifeguard.

Maybe HD should offer a fire sprinkler accessory for their liquid cooled V-Rods in their catalog.

Nope, then you'd need refrigeration. ===========A few times while refueling I spilled gas on the bike that ran down towards the hot engine and pipes, I thought - oh **** - it's gonna burst into flames but it never has. I still usually get off to fuel though, just in case. If it did catch fire at a gas pump, you wouldn't want to hang around with a pint sized extinguisher.
