i replaced my screaming eagle slipon's with a set of dg hardkrome staggered exhaust and they seemed ok pottering about, but on a long run the noise started to get to me, ( and i use moulded ear plugs) as i like the look and i have more clearence for my leg from the rear cylinder, would removing the baffle and putting some wirewool in the pipes then replace the baffles act as a silencer or would i lose power any ideas?

 

I went from SE slipons to the Freedom Performance pipes and knew they would be louder.
I replaced the stock baffles in my Freedom Performance with V&H Quiet baffles along with some Smartpartz Hard Kore baffles.

 

I have Khrome werks HP plus baffles in my drag pipes...plenty of bark when you get in the throttle ...but very quiet at cruzing speed.
