Rear Light Bar Design Flaw!!!!!!!!!!

Default Rear Light Bar Design Flaw!!!!!!!!!!

I posted this in the Touring Models Forum too as this really needs to get to everyone. I'm sure the majority have the same issue with their bike and do not even know it. Check out your rear light bar. It is bolted to your rear fender and it is chrome to painted metal contact. Mine was a tad lose and wore the paint off the fender where the light bar mounts onto the fender. One solutiuon is to cut a rubber gasket(from bicycle inner tube) and place between the bar and fender. Parts guy at the dealer I use, said his wore all the way through and he had to put on a fender washer to secure the light bar.

If you look close at the pic of my rear bar, you'll see I have circular washers that I installed on mine. Looks like they came that way.
