There are great sellers selling well priced bikes out there. Unless you're inlove with this one, keep looking. It's fun and builds experience.

Bingo - use it as bargaining tool...bike just needs oil change. If it was a car...I'd run away.

Condensation in oil, probably also never been changed. Have you ridden an 883 before? I love mine, but don't expect a crotch rocket.

I would not buy that bike.
An '07 with only 1300 miles and condensation in the oil is a bad mix!

I would keep looking. With 1300 miles on a 5 year old bike, sounds good, but think of all the internal damage. With milky oil, the parts don't get lubricated as well as they should, and in turn they wear, rust on rocker arms, push rod ends are rusted, wearing the rockers. You'll end up doing a top end to it in a matter of time. Another issue, 5 years old, no miles, gaskets, clutch bearings all dry out. Keep looking, there are tons of bike out there for sale.

I have motorcycles that have sit up to two years and never absolutely never was the oil contaminated with water.

One needs to do a bunch of very short hops where the motors does not get warm each time to generate the condensation and then not run long enough to burn it off. That is an unlikely scenario.

The water in the oil is from another source like a flood or left outside where something was loose enough for water to infiltrate.
