Default Stage 1 air cleaner cover

Got the air cleaner from FuelMoto but they're out of the plain domed covers. An Audio CD is the right size to cover the filter until I can find a real chrome cover.. I used a rubber fender washer under the disk to fill the gap.

I've heard stories from guys that had to pull over under a bridge in the rain because their exposed filter clogged with water and guys who say they ride in the rain all the time with an exposed filter and have never had any issues. Don't know what to believe...

I keep a plastic grocery bag in the tool bag not to mention look for the first overpass to hide under til the rain passes. Doen the rain thing as a kid never bothered me, got a lil older and wiser(I hope)...laffs

I've been using the round wall guard/patch things that you use to protect the wall from a door handle. Paint them black and it matches the wrinkle black engine well. A few bucks a piece or in a 3 pack.
