Default I've got a friend with a Fat Boy that needs some help

A friend has a 2007 Fat Boy and he want saddlebags and a fairing. he doesn't have access to the internet and knows nothing about finding what he think he wants. I didn't know you could put a fairing and saddlebags on a Fat Boy.

Anyhow, anyone have some recommendations for which bags and fairings would best fit this bike without spending a lot of money. He said he would like a fairing that a radio can be mounted in if thats possible. The saddlebags and fairing needs to be Black.

If there are any question I should ask him, fire away I'm sure he will appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Not gonna happen without spending some serious money. Bags, leather or hard bags, will probably be at least $500, and a fairing too? With tunes? I'm thinking he better be prepared to spend 2K. Tell him he bought the wrong bike, but I have a sweet 2010 Heritage that would fit him just right!

Looking at Viking Bags for my wife's fatboy.....bolt on or toss-over for right around $200.

Fairing with a radio? easy, but $2K is about right to expect.

It's going to cost some money, but it can be done. As for buying the wrong bike I dunno, tastes change. 10 years ago I wanted a Fat Boy solo cruiser, then became interested more in 2 up longer distance trips but didn't want to sell a perfectly good machine so I made it work.

And don't forget if he has stock or stock style shotgun exhaust it would most likely be in the way a lot of the bag choices. Fat Boy bags could be installed but are a bit smaller than say the Heritage bags. Also you could check out Memphis Shades for the fairing. Hope it all works out for him.

Viking Bags has Medium and Small bags that they say fit on the FB's stock pipes.

(which are ugly, so he should get rid of those first!)

Bags come to fit just about any price point $100-$500. I'd get large bags for a Fatboy.
A fairing will cost quite a bit more than a windshield. If the fairing isn't a requirement he can get handlebar mounted speakers that work with a MP3 player for around $300.

Call places like Dennis Kirk, JP cycles, Jake Wilson and order some catalogs for him.
