Am I getting the runaround?
#54
Just an update on the situation:
I brought the bike home and started wrenching on it. Due to not a lot of spare time to work on it, the engine is still not out yet, but it's getting close. I basically just have the primary to take apart then the motor mounts and it's out.
My girlfriend of 3-1/2 years and I recently got engaged on April first. We plan to get married June 12th and our dream is to do it on the Harley at Hazel Mountain Overlook on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. Coming up next month we are throwing a Wedding Shower/Reception party and have made a unique request of our guests; Since we already have all the toasters, waffle irons, etc. that we could need(the things people normally give for wedding presents), we have asked that everyone that wishes to give us something for the wedding please instead make a donation to the reman of the Harley's engine to help make our dream wedding a reality. I don't really know just how much we might raise this way, but it will help for sure. The remanned engine should be arriving back at the dealer at around the same time as the party, so hopefully I get enough to just go the next day and pick up the engine.
Everyone here has been very helpful and I appreciate all the replies. Thanks for your help.
