It rained Sat night some....
The ride home, we had a tiny bit of sprinkle on 46, the rest of 200 miles was dry.

I wonder of there was some radio/microwave towers in the area?
Maybe they have a ham radio setup there inside?
This is pretty weird though.

If I am not mistaken the keyfobs are RFID. If so then anything that can mess with the radio can interfere with the fob too.

Had that same thing happen at a truck stop in AZ. Read through the manual and they talked about the interference thing, so I pushed the bike a few feet and it fired right up.

My bike doesn't have the security even though it's 2012, now maybe I should be glad. Maybe the hotel owner had a deal with kickbacks fron the local indy, and a radio jammer. He's pissed you guys figured it out. HAHA

I'm so glad my bike doesn't have all the "electronic crap" on it.......just a little bit. But certainly, no security system where the FOB has to be near the bike to start it.

It'll happen near air force bases also. Our signals can't or aren't allowed to interfere with more important radio signals.

I hate those things. Totally useless. I'm glad neither of my bikes has that!

Can't beat the ol' padlock in the frame neck. Worked for decades. No problems unless you lose your key!
