Not sure this analagy holds up dude (and I'm on the H-D side). You're sayin' a Harley is more like a vette than a Buick? Compared to a BMW? Wouldn't the H-D be the buick and the BMW be the (more nimble, faster) vette?

I'm thinking it's more like comparing a vette to a Porsche. Very good german iron that may be engineered to perfection but may not inspire the same passion as that big v8 with a little exhaust work...

That would be my thoughts also. Actually , I've always thought of my Harley as a 59 Caddy convertable. Not that nimble but all class !

Maybe it should be compared to a good old fashioned 427/435 67 Vette withsidepipes. No exhaust mods needed there.

First of all bmw makes awesome machines .

The dealer network in most parts of the US sucksbad I think the factory warranty with BMW is better than Harley.

At least with a harley you dont have to look far for a dealer.

If you like the bike and it suits you just buy it . Ill wave at you when you drive by

BMW's warranty coverage varies from country to country. In the US, it's 36/36.

What about a Porsche V10 then? You won't get a Corvette to sound this furious.

Speaking of the devil (BMW), I rented the new movie "The Wicker Man" staring Nicolas Cage last night. He was riding a BMW.
