Non-oxy premium gas......

Some stations may label one of their pumps as "can have up to 10% alcohol" when in fact all their pumps have the same gasohol. I assume ALL gas pumps are 10% alcohol, unless otherwise posted. I can't find any station around here that sells straight gas.

Thunder mug is kinda right as you are only supposed to pump non-ethonol gas in a can down here in Florida. It is only for non-highway use. Places to get it are few and far between down here but it is available.
Just get some Star-tron and add a 1/3 oz to every tank full and your ethonal concerns are a thing of the past. It works great. All my small engines always crank right up now since I have been usining it. My bike runs soooooo much better with it. Star-Tron rocks.

I'm lucky I guess. There's a station a few miles from me that has clear premium. I keep around 25-30 gallons of it in the garage and fill up before I go out. On a long ride I'll fill with primo and put in marine grade Stabil as I heard this counteracts the ethanol pretty well. Not sure if that's true. I carry a small container measured for 4 gals. I run a carbed bike so I'm a bit careful I guess.
As to whether I get more or less mpg..........I've never kept track......

Are you sure? Unless this website is FOS, Michigan has many non ethanol stations.

One thing I found...
In Missouri, all fuel is alcohol blend EXCEPT pumps that are specifically labeld ethanol free. It will only be found on some pumps that are 91 octane or higher.

The place we stopped at had a sign up that said "Ethanol Free Mid Grade".
I'm not sure if a sticker is required on the pump, but almost every place I stop at for fuel has the 10% ethanol sticker on the pump.

I don't believe it's required but if I were offering ethanol free mid-grade gas I would sure promote and label that it was so. Especially since it should cost about as much as premium.

When did that become law? Because I know of a gas station in Dunedin that had ethanol free gas awhile back. The only law I've heard in FL concerning ethanol is that if they are selling gas with ethanol in it it has to be posted on the pump.

In Washington (State) we have many outlets for ethanol free gas. It's usually premium grade (92 octane) and we do pay more for it. It's in a pump clearly marked as ethanol free. All of the other pumps are clearly marked as 10% ethanol.
I use the pure-gas website as well as gas buddy and cheap gas. They are usually pretty accurate with their prices and the availability of ethanol free fuel.
