Why don't dealerships do Scavenger oil changes
I just did my first Scavenger oil change and I was wondering why dealerships don't offer this for the extra charge of another quart of oil.
I don't know if scavenging makes a difference or not and am not looking for that discussion in this thread...just seems like a good idea to me.

Little to no benefit from the effort.
In plain english: Not enough customers willing to pay for the extra time, tools and oil.

I have started an oil change business featuring the Scavenger system. So far it has been well received. When customers see an extra quart of nasty oil come out they become believers.

I change my oil often enough that when I dump it, it is usually still gold. What would be the point?

Heck it starts getting contaminated as soon as you start the bike and ride away. I also don't believe a half quart of used oil makes any difference.

It doesn't take that much longer and they would get to move another quart of oil off their shelf...seems like a good idea to me , from a business perspective.
Dixie Dreg...Glad to hear things are working out with your business. I am a huge believer in the Scavenger after seeing how much oil was actually left in the engine after draining the pan
