I started riding my friends Pacemaker Whizzer motor bike back in 49 when I was 8 years old. Got my first Doodlebug mini scooter when I was 10. 16 when I got my first Harley. It's funny how the things that grab you when you are young stick with you your whole life. Thanks be to the Lord for giving me the desires of my heart.

G]Hey Old Dog, Oct1949 here..
So Ur about a Yr ahead of me..

Got my first Motorcycle in 64, a new 125 Capriolos, an Italian made bike of the Ducati sister family.
It was supposed to be fast but turned out to be a POS...

Heres a link to what she looked like.

http://www.flysfo.com/web/export/sit...cles_slide.jpg

She didn't look to bad for a 15 old kid but a Honda super 90 would out run her.

Just coming up on 48 yrs here..

Anyway hope we have many Yrs of riding left in us..

.

I started riding in 1956. When I'm crossing the country on a Harley, I feel 19 again. I plan to ride at least until I'm a 100. No one has proved to me that I can't and I'm one stubborn German/Scotch/Irish old fart.

Know what you mean. Been 46 years for me (37 on the street).

I reckon you can't tell by looking at me, but I am still digging every minute I on the bike!

40 years riding this month. Have had in that time frame:

46 bikes
19 Harleys
0 accidents
1 flat tire
4 breakdowns (all on my Goldwing)
24 tickets (last one was in '87)
56 pieces of ***
1 case of clap
1 case of crabs
1 case of some kinda weird ***** rash even the dr. couldn't identify.
0 wives
0 kids

Wouldn't change a thing. Except for the tickets. And the clap & crabs.
