Anyone Else Think Harley's Color Choices Are Just Lame?
I really like the look of the new Street Glides, but the factory colors are busted, IMO. I like the blue that they have, but they could have broke it up with a charcoal grey or something. The options just aren't that great.
I know, I know... flat black and vivid black are the only two colors that are cool... blah, blah, blah.

Nope, there's a Road King in the garage with my name on it. Just think the current colors suck. The blue and silver on yours looks awesome. The blue and grey on mine is tolerable. The baggers just seem kind of blah.

I've seen better choices of colors in the past. The solid color on street glides goes along with the sleek "stripped down" look that give the SG it's character.

Harley's colors & paint are the best in the business BY FAR & BAR NONE. Stop bitchin' & enjoy them. Wanta yellow Goldwing? The only reason for the small selection this year was that due to last year's earthquake in Japan, certain chemicals required to make the paint that are produced there were not available.

What's annoying is the fact that some countries importing H-D's don't offer all the colour schemes available elsewhere.
When I wanted to buy my 2012 Sportster, the two tone vivid black/sedona orange wasn't available here, while it can be available in France, just across the border...

I miss the real red they used to have on Sportys. Today it's more like a burgundy or maroon than a true red.

One of my favorite color combos was the red/black Harley did a few years back ('02 maybe?) on the Sportster that was a throw back to the '57 Sportsters.
