Anyone Else Think Harley's Color Choices Are Just Lame?
#52
I think Harley does great on color choices, and paint quality. They usually offer at least 4-5 colors for each model and also offer custom paint sets. Not only that, other than Vivid Black many of the other colors are only offered for a couple years, and the wild colors (Chrome Yellow, Dragonfly Green, Sedona Orange, Tequila Sunrise, Olive Green, etc) are generally offered one year only.
Compare that to Japanese or Euro builders who typically offer like 2 colors, which are generally mundane colors like black, charcoal, burgandy, etc.

I wonder what the OP thinks of Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, BMW and others that limit color choices to only two or three. Hmmm.

Colors (1)
Can agree to some extent but overall really doesn't matter that much to me and there are always custom paint shops around that would give you exactly what you want - I'm an all black and chrome guy myself.

You answered your question...
I really like the look of the new Street Glides, but the factory colors are busted, IMO. I like the blue that they have, but they could have broke it up with a charcoal grey or something. The options just aren't that great.
I know, I know... flat black and vivid black are the only two colors that are cool... blah, blah, blah.
