I don't like the newer colors, they make the bikes look like toys.

I had a bit of time to kill today and went by the local stealer. They had three of the '08 "Duracell" bikes there. An EG, a Dyna and a Sporty. I must admit to liking it. Maybe it's me, but the denim black is getting a bit played out.

I really like my Merlot/Cherry Sunglow and how it pops in the sun. Dark blue pearl is nice and the root beer colors are pretty interesting...and black.

HD never has enough LOUD colours out there. The brighter the better for me.

Why not be able to factory order the color you want out of the total colors available on all models and NOT be model specific for colours like they are now.

It might improve HD sales overall too!

They've had some hits and misses with paint for sure. One of my favorites was Deep Lava Red, looked great in the sun. The Champagne & Burgundy Metallic on my 95th has kind of grown on me for some reason. Good paint is extremely expensive, and there is a big push to develop water based paints for environmental reasons. Chevy had a blueish-purple paint that changed color depending on the light, I believe it was Laser Blue. Very cool looking put pricey at $400 a quart.
