At least I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Think back to how limited it was for the 100th aniverary in 03. I think there was Black, Black and Silver and A kind of steel Blue color. That was it accross the board for all models. I was glad when 04 rolled around so at least the stealer had something different to look at.

I've had mostly black bikes, but the color choices recently are getting lamer. Hope they perk up soon!

I prefer denim paint, I wish they offered more colors each year in denim. If I have the option, I would never have a gloss paint job again.

Some years are better than others. For example, they only seem to have purple about every 3 years.

The 2012 color choices were pretty limited, I agree, perhaps for the reason Dickey suggested. My guess is that in 2013 there will be more options.

I'm not a purple guy but I don't mind having the option. I like green. The two tone green/white combo in '98 was sweet. I'll attempt to insert a picture of MLK's famous 1998 Sporster. If it doesn't work, just click the link.

I like this Sportster! MoCo should bring this color combo back. I would love to see some kind of "Nostalgia" colors come back to the showroom. The gas tank exhibit at the MoCo museum has a lot of old colors that would be really cool now.

To me color of a bike is the least important factor. But then I like any color as long as it is black.

Most of the color schemes are indeed a lil on the boring side but its all about $$$ anyway. Many are going to tear into their bikes anyway so why not provide a sh&t paint job and give riders one more thing to have to change. Although I will say the denim paint job do appeal to me more than the gloss jobs.

^^^This. I love my vivd black Badboy, but I like the look of denim black better. Denim also does not show dust (at least on black) like the gloss does. I spend alot less time polishing and more time riding with denim.
