Default Salesman stupidity

At the local dealer today, in service dept getting a tire installed. There sits a spanking new street glide with a freshly installed 120R, as I am admiring the mighty 120R a salesman walks up with potential buyer and starts the bike. He immediately srarts revving the bike near redline, I mean immediately like the starter was still spinning when he starts jabbing the throttle. What a dumbass, a mechanic from the shop comes out and jumps on his *** because it hasn't even been broken in yet. Just makes me want to buy it....NOT...what a douche.

Salespeople and dealerships in the automotive/motorcycle world in gerneral are still stuck in the pre-internet era. They still don't acknowledge that there are forums for everything and most people do their homework before walking into a business. They act like it's still 1950. They lie and mislead people.
I try to tell people that in this day and age you cannot lie about anything. Google alone will point out 99% of lies.

I don't know why they call them salesmen,,,,,all they do is show you a bike, tell ya little bit about the bike, then they turn you over to the guy/girl behind the desk to talk numbers, they are the one that sell the bike, not the idiots on the showroom floor. That's all the are,,,,,,showroom Men?

There is too much mis-information on the Internet to believe half of it!
