Default New road king will not idle with hot

Thought I would ask around before contacting the dealer. I like to have as much info as possible before going in there.
Once the motor gets hot it will stall at stop lights. Got to where I have to just kill it when stopped then start it when the light turns green. Any ideas? Also I cannot get it to go into neutral to safe my life when it is running. Once it is turned off and cools a bit I can get it into neutral with no problem. I only have 210 miles on it so far. Perhaps break in issues?

Thanks

Check your engine and transmission oil. Make sure there is oil in the bike. Then take it back.

As far as finding neutral, it takes a while to "break in". At your 1000mi. service get some better fluid in there and you'll notice the difference.

Need to get it in to find out Why it is stalling. As far as the Neutral thing try blipping your throttle just a hair while you are hunting it.

Symptoms of a dragging clutch. Especially won't idle...clutch dragging to the point that it wants to propel the bike in gear. Does it idle when in neutral? If so the clutch needs adjusting. That would be a quick fix for the dealer.

Good luck.

Sounds like the dealership didn't prep the bike to me. Take it back.

Thanks for the input everyone. The slipping clutch makes sense. It indeed acts like it wants to jump into gear with the clutch pulled in after it gets hot. I indeed don't think the prepped it well. I had to pay a lot of money for them to do that too. I am not happy. Have an appointment to take it into the dealer on Saturday.

Don't get all worked up about paying for the prep work you paid for. With under 300 miles, there's a good chance that the clutch cable has stretched enough to get the adjustment out of whack.
