Braking reminder
For all of us up north that are just getting our bikes out. Riding to work this morning, and it had rained last night so the side roads were still wet. Light changes and I hit the binders. Rear locks up almost with no pressure, release, reapply with less pressure, still locked up. Front was ok with medium pressure to stop.
Remember, wet roads and quick stops are like riding on ice.

Good point! Ridden aggressively all my life always upgrade brakes and always use both ends.ABS for me are way too scary and my bikes stop far shorter,no lockups or pulsing.

And its not just stopping either, rode some roads of late that I like to ride, too much gas, and I mean very little and the rear kicks out. All gets sorted out after a few rides. Sand really bites!!

Good save. I have never had the opportunity to ride with ABS. Heard a lot of good and bad things about it.

Had the same rain front roll thru us last nite. The roads dried but were sweating do to the warm temps and cold pavement. The cagers just don't understand the traction situation two wheels have or don't have.
