Is it just my imagination or....

I've seen maybe a few more in the last year or two in this area. I go back and forth with 'em....some days I think they're ugly and kind of 70s looking, other days I think they're kinda cool.
To me they kind of look like the old Ideal Robot Commander

Around here, there was a time when you couldn't GIVE one away--now they are all over. personally--I don't care for them. Fairing looks like an out-of-place afterthought. But I don't care for ANY fairings on bikes.

Opps, did not mean to start a controversy about how a bike looks, but since y'all started it: the bat wing bikes are the ugliest, most evil handling bikes that I have ever ridden. It feels like I'm a kid again delivering Sunday papers on my bicycle. There's just too much weight on the handle bars and forks to make the thing handle like a real motorcycle.
Flame away girls.

You must have skinny girly arms. Why do Police agencies pick the EG/SG?
I found the steering effort to be better than the wide glide Deuce forks. If anything, the RG puts MORE weight on the forks, less on the handlebars.
Define handling? Like that officer doing the cones on the EG?

Not many here on the Big Island. Like mine a lot. Got it so my daughter could ride with us. Handles better in the wind than an Electra. I am long and tall so the fairing feels good to me, the EG fairing makes me feel cramped. Got a Clearview recurve wind screen and I have no wind issues.
