I think the whole Yaffe/Hot Baggers trend has kind of put these things on the map. At first I thought they were ridiculously ugly-no I like 'em. I think I succumbed to the mob mentality-or maybe I just discovered the latent coolness.

Don't do it!!!
The fairing is a pain in the *** to put back on and align. (Unless you read the Manual) The Wellnuts keep falling inside of the fairing. And worst of all is the buffeting you get for you helmet wearers. Non-helment wears are not as affected. You're gonna change your windshiled at least (AND I MEAN) at least 3 times before you figure out which one fits best. And you can't reach the radio (LMFAO!!!)

Most European dealers do not get the RG's are part of their inventory, and only recently have a few shown up , mostly SE versions. Guess most are liking the unique front fairing. the Street Glide is still popular in North American market, but the softail still rules for pure looks and the Europeans' affinity for HD promoted culture, so would not expect that to change. Should have heard the groans from my Germans friends when I brought my Limited home..."Thats not a real Harley" they said ..LOL. I could care less, but made me laugh and I told them I would be wearing a big huge smile travelling on the big open highways across the country when I get back home. Must confess I did look twice at the RG, but did not go that model.
