Default Calling all MN/WI Riders Who is riding the Flood Run this Year

I had my bike last year before the flood run but it was my first year with it, so we missed it. Would like to attend this year and I'm wondering where the best places to stop are? Appreciate any advice, thanks in advance guys.

Well, they already have you stopping at six places as part of the Run. I don't drink and ride so these aren't bars, but here a couple of my favorite spots: Hansen's Hold-Up which is a little ride up the bluffs from Fountain City http://www.hansensholdup.com/ Fantastic views and decent burgers with patio seating, and fun ride up there. Second, you can't go wrong with some ice cream or cheese from the Nelson Cheese Factory and Creamery in Nelson WI, righ across from Wabasha. http://www.nelsoncheese.com/index.htm Good stuff.

I go most years - (the snow last year was a little much for me so I wimped out) - I am not a fan of the huge traffic jams and craziness by riding out with everyone else, so I usually start south and work my way north and buy my wristband later in the day. Riding opposite of all the masses is the only way I would do it.....

Did you see this Year they have a starting point in Winona. So you will have traffic from south to north too

I did see that.....at least there are plenty of other routes to ride in the area to get away from the traffic jams if needed
