Default Custom Dynamics vs. Hyperlite strobe brake/turn?

I posted the question on another thread with no answers and searched without finding anything.

Anyone compared Custom Dynamics http://www.customdynamics.com/motorc...bulbs.htm#1157
Rotating/ Pulsating 3157 strobe LED brake/ blinker strobe to the
Hyperlite strobe http://www.hyperlites.com/

The Hyperlite is an ugly design but man it should definately get a cages attention coming from behind. I have not seen the CD strobe LED in action.

Anyone have a comparisson of the two?

It seems I am hearing at least one to two bikes getting rear ended a week and am thinking of being more proactive in saving my @ss.

I bought a get back relay for the brake light. Depending on how you connect it can flash in different sequences. Fits under seat, a couple of spices. And Flash.

I screwed up, gave you the wrong name. Just Google "BACK-OFF FLASHER" tons of links. Don't remember exactly where I got mine. Search all the sites for best prices. Maybe JP Cycles or Dennis Kirk, Try using one of the forum vendors.

I'm not familiar with the Custom dynamics setup. I have the Hyperlites 8 LED set. They are unobtrusive, and don't detract from the appearance of my Ultra, since they mount next to the license plate. At $85 they are cheap insurance against getting plowed from behind.

Do you happen to have a video or picture of your Hyperlite setup? Just curious if the are as bright as the website shows.

RANGER73,

Do you happen to have a picture or anything of your lights?
Still would like to see the others like Custom Dynamics setup as well.

Thanks for the info.

I have a samsung galaxy tab android set up, so I havn't a clue as to how to uplooad pics or videos to this site. I am computer "challenged". Sorry. I can say that the video on the websiteis a fair representation of what they perform like in real life. I don't know how they stack up compared to the Custom Dynamics brake light BAL-1 that I've seen threads on, so I can't comment on that. On My Ultra they look pretty bright, and my buddy who is fellow motor officer followed me in his car one time and said they really jumped out him when my brake lights came on. In fact he said that after following me for a while he said they started to annoy him. I took that as a good thing. I figure that it was $85 well spent, and when they're not activated you don't even notice they are there.

Nope, The light is just a light. The flasher relay cuts into the wiring and will work with any light. I think there is a different relay for LED'S or incandescent. Did you Google it like I suggested?
