I just debadged my Springer Classic a few days ago. Also removed the front fender (going to a short one) and will be changing the bars to either apes or drag bars, leaner seat, yadayadaya. But debadging was all part of what I liked as far as looks go. I also debadged the Kawa Mean Streak in the background of the pic. So I guess I'm an equal opportunity debadger

When I had a metric I removed the badges first thing, just like the clean look, If mine on the 07 EG weren't painted on with clear coat over them they'd be gone also, just have to wait until I can afford paint job.

I was just visiting another bike forum looking at pictures as I do every now and then. Last forum I was checking out was a Victory MC forum. Of course as you would expect, general consenses there isthey are the best in eveyway. But what I can't figure our is why virtually every brand except for HD remove their tank badges. I realize that some people including HD bikes remove them for other reasons, but by a large margin,you see way more non HD bikes with the tank badge removed. As if theyseem to be embarrassed by the brand.I can only think of one reason for this. Am I wrong?[8D]

I just finished removing mine (whatta chore) and it looks better IMHO but might consider a decal in the future. Guess I need to update my sig pic.
